Making each garment upon receipt of an order also equates to less waste, limited editions also ensure each piece is more unique, ideal for the black sheep!

Like so many of my lovely customers, I am aware of the harrowing impact of plastic, fast and fleeting fashion trends - the toll it takes on ecosystems and peoples lives. So I want to celebrate dressmakers and artisan brands in the UK that prioritise quality over quantity and demonstrate there is another way to design/ dress.  I support the ‘Campaign for wool’ and continue to avoid using any synthetic material containing toxic 'poly' plastic fibres and have only ever worked with natural materials. Only organic pure cotton thread is used in my machines and my packaging is zero plastic, I am also committed to promoting & adding more certified organic materials to my own fabric library.
