This painting is from the 'Summers turning into autumn' landscape series documenting work I created in 2021 - 2023 as I settled into life in the Hebrides. Living on the isle of Mull is such a blessing, in my paintings I strive to capture the vivid colours, surreal atmosphere and wild beauty of Mull other Scottish Islands. Inspiration feels endless, many of my paintings are developed en plein air - outdoors or in my cosy home studio.
